Australian designer Cristina Nitopi, for the first time presented an exclusive menswear collection at Fall Couture Fashion Week. It was nice to see a feminine perspective on menswear. The tailored, trim cut pants and cropped denim jackets were a revival from decades past but with just enough modernity to make the sophisticated, urban guy proud to walk down the street wearing it.
Of course my favorite look was the fanciful big, OVER THE TOP fur coats-bare. Yes, the models were bare chest and yes, I do realize that no self-respecting man would ever be caught DEAD walking down any street in the America wearing one. However, it was still incredibly sexy, watching their fantastic forms strut down the catwalk. Menswear shows definitely have their privileges! ;-)
